GrandStay Hotel & Suites Sisters opened in May of 2019 and is owned and operated by longtime locals, Steve and Robin Rodgers. Their son, Kris, also born and raised in Sisters, is the hotel’s General Manager. Nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Range and in the shadow of the namesake Three Sisters mountains, the Rodgers saw a great opportunity to bring new accommodations to the town of Sisters. As a long-time regular stop on the way to and from Bend, Sisters is well known for its main street charm, old-west style buildings and amazing access to world class outdoor activities like fly fishing, hiking, mountain climbing, biking and rafting. Over the last 5-10 years, the need for new and updated hospitality accommodations became apparent as the town grew. Rather than opt for a generic, cookie-cutter hotel, the Rodgers sought out a brand that fit with the small-town atmosphere of Sisters and allowed them the flexibility they needed. They found that in GrandStay.
GrandStay originates from the Minneapolis, MN area and was excited to branch out to the West Coast, where they hope to continue to grow. “GrandStay is a brand on the move and is pleased to introduce the newest GrandStay Hotel & Suites in Sisters, Oregon”, said Jon Kennedy, GrandStay brand President. “The expansion of the brand into Oregon is part of a growth strategy to bring the finest lodging to new cities and states across the country”, Kennedy added.
Working together, the Rodgers and Northland Furniture were able to appoint the guestrooms with customized, high quality case goods that delivered the right design, quality and durability. With carefully thought out finishing touches, the Northland Furniture gives the guestrooms a sense of independent style that reflects the roots of the little western mountain town of Sisters, OR.
