As many of you know, Northland has a long history of working with Northwest regional projects that are independent and intimately reflect their local communities. Over the years, Northland has developed a philosophy and process that is reflected in three simple words: “Design. Build. Stay.” We believe this core value and concept was on full display here. We wanted to share a recent project that serves as a great example of how well the Northland process works. The Marcus Whitman Hotel was a customer from over a decade ago and came back to us when it was time to renovate again. In March of 2018, we began a conversation that would take us through summer and into late fall of that year. In that time, we were able to discuss and design room furniture that met their requirements both functionally and aesthetically. As the renovations took on a life of their own, Northland was able to accommodate their schedule with phase shipping and blanket wrapped deliveries that came off the truck and into the rooms quickly. While the guests come and go, the quality of the furniture will stay as Northland offers a 10 year manufacturer’s warranty. It was an honor to have a small part in the story of The Marcus Whitman and help fulfill their vision for such a beautiful, iconic property. Now is a great time to visit! |
